Mr Crosby is currently Chairman of the Agribusiness Advisory Board of Adelaide University, as well as General Manager of his own farming and investment business in the South East of SA. He is also Managing Director of C&F International – an import and export business selling Australian produce into Vietnam.

John has been Chairman of numerous wheat and meat industry bodies over his career and he has also held senior roles with the NFF and Agribusiness Association of Australia. During this period he played a significant role in the float of Elders and was both a baodr member and General Manager with Elders after the foat.

David GiddingsDirector

Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture). Previous Chairman of the Wanilla Ag Bureau and Chairman LEDA (Lower Eyre Ag Development Association).

Mr Giddings is an innovative and dynamic farmer based at Wanilla / Wangary on the lower Eyre Peninsula and employs the latest available farming technology to maximise farm profitability in a high rainfall zone.

Trevor GilmoreDirector

Councillor of District Council of Streaky Bay, Member of Eyre Peninsula Water Resources Advisory Committee, Member of Streaky Bay Tourism Committee

Mr Gilmore has had a varied career in regional areas, including teaching, fishing and business, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Board of FREE Eyre.

Anthony (Tony) HullDirector

BA (Accounting), Assoc Member of IPA, Registered Tax Agent, Masters Degree in Professional Accounting (current studies)

Mr Hull is a professional Accountant specialising in agribusiness consulting and is a great addition to the Board.x In addition to his business ventures and current study commitments, he manages a property on the Eyre Peninsula.


Julian SpeedDirector

BAppSc (Agriculture), MBA (Business Administration)

Mr Speed grew up in the farming community of the Eyre Peninsula and has spent many years in various roles within the agribusiness sector, both within Australia and overseas locations. Julian specialised in Agronomy and more recently performed roles as a Senior Manager within the agribusiness sector.

Matthew FosterDirector

Grew up on a farm near Wudinna, Central EP. Mr Foster’s experience includes shearing, time in the livestock freight industry and broadacre farming.

Now a fourth generation farmer, he is keenly interested in sustainable agriculture in low rainfall areas and networking with agricultural stakeholders.
